HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A city woman was arrested after police say she fired a gun at her ex-boyfriend.

Queen McNair, 44, is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and related charges after an incident Sunday night.

The 31-year-old man told police he was leaving a bar and walking north on Moore Street when he heard McNair yelling at him. He said he walked across the street to get away from her, but McNair followed him to Forrest and Moore streets where he heard a loud “pop.”

The man said he looked behind him and saw McNair holding a black handgun. He said he took off running and heard two more shots behind him. The last shot struck his left shoe in the area of his ankle, police said.

McNair denied involvement in the shooting. She was placed in the Dauphin County Prison on $50,000 bail.
