CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) A group of runners are remembering fallen men and women of the military before a 2-mile run.
Wear blue run to remember is a national group with a chapter in Carlisle.
The Carlisle chapter meets every first Saturday at the flag pole at the Army Heritage and Education Center in Carlisle at 9 a.m. They hold a circle of remembrance where the names of all of the service members killed in action that day as well as those killed in action close to group members are read.
After the circle the group goes on a 2-mile fun run in support of the fallen, the fighting and their families.
Dawn White will report live from the group’s meetup Saturday morning on abc27 News daybreak.
