Jody Rebarchak is a Democratic candidate for the 104th state House district, which is located in Dauphin and Lebanon counties.
abc27 News is making free airtime available to candidates. The following is the full text of Rebarchak’s statement:
“I’m Jody Rebarchak, candidate for State Representative in the 104th House district.
As I campaign across our district, I hear the same thing from Penbrook to Middle Paxton to East Hanover: We are all frustrated with gridlock in Harrisburg, and don’t think our voices are being heard.
From property tax relief and fair school funding to criminal justice and drug treatment reform, I hear you, and together we can work for a new day in the 104th district.
My opponent accepts campaign contributions from big money lobbyists, then works to pass bills for them, and she won’t refuse a pension. That’s part of the problem in Harrisburg.
If you trust me with your vote, I will work to be part of the solution, not the problem. Unlike my opponent, I’ll work full time, and I won’t accept per diems, pay raises or a pension.
As mom of three, a wife and a Susquehanna Township Commissioner, I know the everyday problems our children, parents, workers, and communities face. In the state legislature, I’ll work for you, not the lobbyists. I’ll do everything I can to strengthen our communities for our children and grandchildren.
Thank you, and please vote November 8.”
