Lancaster assault victim in serious condition, no arrests made

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – An assault victim remains hospitalized in serious condition following an assault in Lancaster.

Police discovered the 18-year-old victim around 3:30 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of Marietta Avenue.

The victim was bleeding from his face and had serious injuries that required surgery, according to police. He was unresponsive to questions.

Investigators believe the victim was assaulted in an alley to the rear of the 600 block of Lake Street.

No suspects have been named by police.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses in the ongoing investigation.
