November is diabetes awareness month, and World Diabetes Day is November 14. Vanessa Snell was here to talk about the alarming rise of diabetes around the world and what we can do to prevent and better manage diabetes.

“Type 2 diabetes is caused by poor diet, obesity and lack of exercise. As more Americans are obese, the incidence of diabetes also increases,” tells Snell.

PinnacleHealth will be hosting some awareness events throughout the month:
