NEWPORT, Pa. (WHTM) – A $2 million grant has been awarded to a Perry County community in hopes business will soon be booming there.

Hamm Equities, LLC has been awarded the grant through the state’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program for improvements at the future site of Buffalo Crossing Business Park in Howe Township.

The project will create dozens of construction jobs, as well as the potential for dozens of full-time jobs in the future.
