A clear sky overnight is leading to a chilly morning across Central Pennsylvania with many locations starting off in the lower 30s. Despite the chill, however, more mild air will move in this week to kick off November. Today will be seasonable with highs in the upper 50s and a few clouds will thicken up today as a warm front moves through. Expect a dry night on the way too with lows staying elevated due to some clouds. Lows tonight will be in the upper 40s. Tomorrow will be quite warm for early November with highs in the lower 70s and a mix of clouds and sunshine.
It looks like our next chance of rain is later in the day Thursday as another cold front comes to clear out the warm-up. Thursday will still be mild, but daytime temperatures return to the 50s heading into the weekend. The sunshine returns by Friday but it will be blustery and cool too. The weekend looks mainly sunny, cooler, and dry…very pleasant for early November! Don’t forget that Daylight Saving Time comes to an end this weekend, and we must set the clocks back an hour in the overnight heading into Sunday morning. That means the darkness arrives earlier starting next week — but an extra hour of shut eye this weekend!
