Victim identified in fatal Lebanon crash

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have released the name of the man killed in a Lebanon crash Friday.

Officers were called around 3:30 p.m. to the scene at the intersection of 3rd Street and Pershing Avenue.

According to police, Ammon Boltz, 66, of Lebanon, was driving east on Pershing Avenue when his vehicle collided with a vehicle traveling south on 3rd Avenue.

Boltz died of the injuries suffered in the crash. The driver of the second vehicle, 33-year-old Hafiz Rizwan Talid Hashmi of New York, was not injured, police said.

The Lebanon County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is helping with the investigation.
