Pittsburgh flights return to HIA after 8 years

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – For the first time since 2008, you can book a nonstop flight between Pittsburgh International Airport and Harrisburg.

Southern Airways says tickets to its new daily service connecting the cities are now available.

It’s the first nonstop flight between the airports since US Airways canceled the route in 2008.

Three daily flights will be offered. Fares will be $99 each way for the remainder of 2016.
