No students seriously hurt in Palmyra school bus accident

PALMYRA, Pa. (WHTM) – No students were seriously injured when a pickup truck rear-ended a Palmyra school bus Monday morning.

EMTs checked all students at the scene. Two students were transported by their parents for further assessment and one student was transported by ambulance to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for further precautionary assessment, according to a statement on the Palmyra Area School District’s website.

The accident occurred on Forge Road while Bus #131 was transporting elementary students.

Parents of the 22 students aboard were notified of the accident.
