Harrisburg web company to expand, add 80 jobs

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Harrisburg-based internet marketing and web design agency will create at least 80 new jobs when it expands its national headquarters in the city.

WebpageFX purchased and will renovate a 12,000-square-foot office building at 1711 North Front Street, adjacent to its current location. It will connect the two buildings to create a technology campus, according to Gov. Tom Wolf’s office.

The company plans to invest at least $2.65 million in the expansion, which will nearly double its number of employee from 92 to 172 high-tech positions.

Wolf’s office said WebpageFX will receive a $240,000 grant from Department of Community and Economic Development, $160,000 in job creation tax credits, and $68,000 for employee training.
