Local fire company sells soup for a good cause

LINGLESTOWN, Pa. (WHTM)- The Linglestown Fire Company held their semi-annual Soup Sale this weekend.

The bunch was selling their chicken corn soup Saturday morning with proceeds going to the fire department.

captain Will Freeman said, “So people can come interact with their firefighters, with their fire police officers. And so we can just really get, truly, the best and newest equipment out there to help serve, not just Lower Paxton Township, but the surrounding communities as well.”

An estimated six to seven hundred gallons of soup was sold for the cause.
