HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Pennsylvania State Police recently visited with a group of law enforcement officials from Mali and Niger.

The delegation is visiting the United States as part of a two-week program by the United States State Department to promote a greater understanding of policing worldwide.

As part of the visit, State Police Commissioner Tyree Blocker met with the officials for presentations on recruiting, training and protocol.

Elsewhere in the United States, the officials took part earlier this month in the International Association of Chiefs of Police convention in San Diego, California.
