Harrisburg man linked to multi-county drug bust

DUNCANNON, Pa. (WHTM) – A 63-year-old Harrisburg man has been named as a suspect in a major drug bust made last week in Perry and Columbia counties.

James Monroe Lindsay, 63, is accused of storing heroin, cocaine, and marijuana at hotels and a storage unit in Watts and Scott townships.

The drug investigation began on October 16 after police were called to a Burger King in Duncannon for a report of a man that overdosed on heroin that was supplied by Lindsay.

Following the incident, search warrants were issued for the Red Carpet Inn, Scholl’s Storage Unit in Watts Township and the Relax Inn in Scott Township. In all, police seized 346 bags of heroin, 105 grams of raw heroin, 180 grams of cocaine, 340 grams of marijuana, Suboxone, and about five grams of bath salt.

Two vehicles and $8,108 in drug proceeds were also seized.

Charges have not been filed at this time.
