MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Harrisburg woman is facing robbery and child endangerment charges after an incident Monday morning in Mechanicsburg.
Officers were called to the first block of West Main Street around 9 a.m. for an active domestic incident.
Angela Jackson, 31, put a cellphone charging cord around someone’s neck, according to police. The victim was told by Jackson not to scream or she would kill her or her baby.
Jackson and the victim took a cab to an ATM where Jackson forced the victim to withdraw money, police said. Once the two arrived back at the victim’s residence, Jackson kicked in the back door of the apartment as the victim fled to contact police.
Police located Jackson later in the afternoon and arrested her.
She was taken to Cumberland County Prison where she was arraigned by a judge and charged with robbery, endangering the welfare of children, criminal trespass, making terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, theft and criminal mischief. Her bail was set at $250,000.
