YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – A York County man arrested for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl after a three-week manhunt has been sentenced to 3½ to seven years in prison.
Austin Craley, 21, pleaded guilty Monday to statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, theft, terroristic threats, and illegal possession of a firearm, according to court records.
He’ll also serve eight years on probation and he must complete sex offender treatment. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
Authorities said Craley assaulted the girl and failed to appear in court April 13 while out on bail. Two days later, police said he went to his accuser’s home in York Township and pointed a gun at her mother’s boyfriend.
He was arrested May 3 at the York Galleria mall.
