Last week’s warmth is nothing but a memory as more seasonable fall-like conditions move in for this week. Expect another mix of clouds and sun today with a continued northwest breeze. Highs will be slightly below average, in the mid 50s. Tonight will be clear and cold with a hard frost possible in most spots, likely ending the growing season across Central PA. Freeze warnings are posted for the viewing area through early Wednesday morning. After a cold start, the rest of tomorrow will feature pleasant conditions before we focus on a chance of rain for Thursday. Ahead of that rain, some clouds are possible late tomorrow.
At this time, Thursday looks showery and cool with most of the rain occurring during the daylight hours. Rainfall will be around a half inch. With many communities planning trick-or-treat for Thursday, we will have frequent updates over the next couple of days. Stay tuned! Winds increase for Friday with another round of cool and breezy conditions arriving for the weekend.
