Police searching for suspect in apartment burglary

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – North Middleton Township police are searching for a the person or people who broke into an apartment and stole cash and items. Police were called to a home on the 900 block of Harrisburg Pike for a reported break in. Investigators say drawers were rummaged, over $100 in cash, 100 CD cases and a bottle of alcohol were stolen. Police believe the intruder possibly used a wooden ladder on the side of the home to gain entry into the garage roof, which gave access to the 2nd floor balcony door.

Police say the entry screen on the storm door was cut, and the door was pried open damaging the lock and the door frame. Anyone with similar incidents or has information on this case should contact Detective Matthew Johnston at (717) 243-7910.
