STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WHTM) – As a part of our ‘Penn State Primetime’ special, we visit the home of George and Sue Henning, long time collectors of Penn State memorabilia and historic items.
George is a former Penn State Trustee, who served from 2004 to July of 2010. His collection is extensive; from footballs marking historic victories, to signed documents for Civil War Veterans by James Beaver. Throughout this collection one faces can be seen the most: Joe Paterno.
The video above shows George and Sue reflecting on the legacy of Paterno in the 6 year fallout of the Jerry Sandusky scandal. Their views, and how they move forward is a sentiment shared by many others who care deeply for Penn State.
