HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Denise Weldon-Siviy is the Democratic candidate for the 91st state House district in Adams County.
abc27 News is making free airtime available to candidates. The following is the full-text of Weldon-Siviy’s statement:
“My name is Denise Weldon-Siviy and I’m running for the 91st District House seat against incumbent Dan Moul.
Last year, we had a nine-month temper tantrum in Harrisburg. And we paid for it. Twice. First, we paid our legislators for nine months while they weren’t doing their job. Holding your breath and waiting for the other side to cave is NOT governing.
Then, we paid higher school taxes because they didn’t do their job. Instead of dealing with Pennsylvania’s bills, they just complained and blamed each other. We can’t afford to keep paying lawmakers to stand around blaming each other while the bills pile up.
On November 8th, I want you remember that I don’t CARE who broke it. I just want to fix it.
My name is Denise Weldon-Siviy and I approve this message.”
