1 of 2 arrested in Home Depot shoplifting incident

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are searching for the other half of a pair accused of shoplifting at a Home Depot in Swatara Township.

Sandy Bibb, 49, was arrested at her home on a retail theft charge.

According to police, Bibb and 33-year-old Joel Marrero were spotted shoplifting at the store at 4200 Derry Street. When a loss prevention officer attempted to detain the two, both ran out of the store. During the incident, police said Marrero threatened the officer with a knife.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Marrero. He faces a robbery charge.
