Target recalls Halloween gel clings

(Consumer Product Safety Commission)

WASHINGTON (WHTM) – Target is recalling Halloween-themed LED window gel clings that can come apart and expose the battery compartment.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says children can choke on or swallow the battery compartments.

The gel clings light up with a blinking light when you push on them. Six different designs – a green skeleton, pink skeleton, purple spider, black cat, orange pumpkin, and black bat – were sold at Target stores from August 2016 through September 2016 for about $1.

No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should return them to any Target store for a full refund.
