Woman, 78, killed in I-81 crash

GREENCASTLE, Pa. (WHTM) – State police say an elderly Tennessee woman was killed in a crash along Interstate 81 in Franklin County.

It happened around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday on the southbound lanes of I-81 in Antrim Township.

According to a news release, 78-year-old Emma Kepka was a passenger in the vehicle that went off the roadway and struck a stone pile, causing the vehicle to go airborne before coming down on its side.

The driver suffered a non-life-threatening injury and was taken to a nearby hospital.

Kepka was pronounced dead at the scene.
