ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) A Williamsport man is facing multiple felony charges related to a burglary at a Lancaster County gun shop.
At a preliminary hearing Tuesday, Judge Janice Jimenez ordered 25-year-old Parrish M. Valentine to be tried on nine felony counts of theft, felony counts of burglary and conspiracy and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
Authorities said in May, Valentine and Shawn R. Prim, 29, smashed the glass front door of Trop Gun Shop in Mount Joy Township, taking nine handguns, worth $4,200.
Surveillance video from the burglary showed one of the suspects wearing distinct Nike Air Jordan sneakers.
Days after the reported burglary, Valentine was pulled over for a traffic stop in Williamsport. Police found the same pair of sneakers, blue and white Air Jordan 14’s, in the trunk of a vehicle occupied by Valentine. The sizes matched Valentine’s feet.
One of the stolen handguns from Trop Gun also was found in the trunk.
Valentine is at Lancaster County Prison on $150,000 bail.
In August, Prim, of Maryland, waived a preliminary hearing on the same charges as Valentine’s.
Lena L. Griffith, who is accused of being the getaway driver in May’s incident, is also facing charges. Her case is pending.
