Salvation Army offers warm clothing in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – As summer-like temperatures invade the area this week, the Salvation Army of Lancaster is getting ready to fight off winter cold.

Beginning tomorrow, Lancaster residents needing a winter coat, hat, or gloves can stop by the Lancaster Salvation Army offices at 131 S. Queen St. and get the warm clothing for free.

“We are starting to see requests for warmer clothing now that the cooler weather has arrived,” said Captain Timothy Sheehan, Lancaster City Coordinator.

Distribution hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through this Friday or until supplies run out.
