Police investigate crime spree along Route 72

EBENEZER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are investigating a string of burglaries and vandalism along Route 72, targeting a business, a fire company, and a school.

North Lebanon Township police responded to six separate incidents between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Oct. 14, including a burglary at the Dollar General, an attempted burglary and criminal mischief at Ebenezer Fire Company and WLBR radio.

New Covenant Christian School says the vandals also hit the high school wing. The school called in a restoration company to clean up broken glass and fire extinguisher dust.

Police say a car was also stolen from the 400 block of Ebenezer Road. Investigators recovered it later at the Turkey Hill on 12th and Maple streets in Lebanon.
