STRASBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster County man who served as a getaway driver in two armed robberies last year will serve up to a decade in prison.
Kervin Perales, 24, of Willow Street, was given a 4-to-10-year prison term in exchange for pleading guilty to felony counts of conspiracy to robbery and fleeing police.
Perales was seriously burned in the fiery crash that followed the November 2015 robbery at the Strasburg Sunoco on North Decatur Street.
The two masked gunmen inside the getaway vehicle escaped after the crash in West Lampeter Township. Police caught Perales after a foot chase.
Police said the two gunmen also robbed the Turkey Hill in Mountville earlier that day.
