Council expected to vote on West York mayor’s resignation

Monday evening, West York’s borough council is expected to vote on whether or not to accept the resignation of the mayor.

Mayor Charles Wasko ignited controversy after making racist social media posts.  He said he would resign if the borough met his demands, including replacing Acting Police Chief Matt Millsap.

Millsap was appointed a few weeks ago when former chief Justin Seibel was placed on paid leave.  Wasko said countil could also give Seibel his job back.
