Police searching for Ephrata laundromat burglar

EPHRATA, Pa. (WHTM) – Ephrata police have arrest warrants for Brandon Lee Sweigart, 25, previously of Ephrata.

Police say in August, Sweigart twice burglarized a laundromat in the 300 block of North Reading Road in Ephrata Township and stole over $2,000.

In September, Sweigart is said to have entered a locker room at a gym in the 300 block of North Reading Road in Ephrata Borough, removed a patron’s car keys, stole cash and credit cards from the patron’s car, and purchased over $300 worth of merchandise using the stolen credit card at a nearby grocery store.

Sweigart is charged with burglary, criminal conspiracy, theft and access device fraud.

Sweigart frequents the Ephrata, Reamstown and Reading areas. Anyone with information on Sweigart is asked to contact Ephrata police at 717-733-8611.
