Madeleine Albright encourages Midstate residents to get out the vote

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Former United States Secretary of State Madeleine Albright visited Harrisburg on Saturday and encouraged residents to vote.

Albright attended an organizing event for the Hillary Clinton campaign at the Harrisburg DNC Headquarters.

She stressed to those in attendance that every vote counts, and that Pennsylvania could make the difference in the race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

“This is a very, very important area for the election. Every vote makes a difference,” Albright said. “I’m just very happy to meet with some very eager, enthusiastic organizers, who are going to go out and knock on doors and get our fellow citizens to vote.”

Albright also attended events in Philadelphia and Johnstown on Saturday. She is scheduled to appear at an event in Pittsburgh on Sunday.
