HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Mike Regan is the Republican candidate for the 31st state Senate district, which includes parts of Cumberland County and York County.
ABC27 News is making free airtime available to candidates. The following is the full-text of Regan’s statement:
“I’m Mike Regan. During my 23 years as a U.S. marshal, I put dangerous criminals behind bars to protect families.
As a conservative state representative, I’ve worked hard to provide local residents with a strong voice, and to put taxpayers first by voting to cut wasteful spending, and by passing responsible budgets that properly fund our priorities and do not raise taxes.
This is important in order to maintain family sustaining jobs while working to attract new ones.
I love Central Pennsylvania. This is where I was born and raised, and where my wife and I are raising our four children.
I’m running for state Senate because I want to ensure that all of our children and grandchildren have the same opportunities that I’ve had by having access to good paying jobs, quality education, and safe and affordable communities.
I’m Mike Regan, and I’m asking for your vote.”
