HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Frank Ryan is the Republican candidate for the 101st state House district, which is located in Lebanon County and includes Cornwall, Lebanon, Mount Gretna, and Palmyra.
ABC27 News is making free airtime available to candidates. The following is the full-text of Ryan’s statement:
“I am Frank Ryan, Republican candidate for the 101st District in the Pennsylvania legislature. As a CPA and a small business owner, I have specialized in helping financially troubled organizations for over 30 years.
As a retired Marine Reserve Colonel, I have served in many contingency operations to include Haiti, Afghanistan briefly and in Iraq.
Pennsylvania is in deep financial trouble.
Unfunded public pensions wreak havoc on the budgets of our schools and municipalities. Rising property taxes drain wallets and push seniors from their homes. Our children are leaving the state to find jobs.
This must stop. The time has come for the status quo to change.
My approach with my customers is to help them face reality and apply common sense.
We need sensible pension reform and practical performance audits to return fiscal integrity and accountability to Pennsylvania.
Together, we will fix Harrisburg with sound business practices and a commitment to prosperity for all citizens.
I am Frank Ryan and I ask for your vote on November 8th.”
