Increased security is expected Friday morning at Central Dauphin High School as tensions continue to run high after an inappropriate photo of students went viral.
The photo showed a group of girls holding a sign with a racial slur.
Thursday, an unfounded rumor went around the high school that someone was firing a gun in the building. Dozens of students left the school. State police said there never was a threat.
The superintendent sent a letter to parents stating that the students involved with the social media post were disciplined.
