State representative candidates make their appeals in New Oxford

NEW OXFORD, Pa. (WHTM) – Candidates in the fourth congressional district representing York, Adams and parts of Cumberland and Dauphin counties went head to head Thursday night.

Incumbent Rep. Scott Perry and Josh Burkholder discussed their qualifications to voters in Adams County.

Dozens of people attended the event at Cross Keys Village in New Oxford to find out where each candidate stands on issues affecting their communities.

Perry has served three terms as a state representative.

This is Burkholder’s first time vying for office.
