Today will bring some cloudiness ahead of a cold front swinging through Pennsylvania. There could be a brief passing shower between 11AM-3PM today. Most places will stay dry, however, as this front doesn’t have a lot of energy or moisture with it. Highs will continue to be mild and should top off near 70 degrees in most places. Once the front passes during the late afternoon, skies should begin to clear. It will be a mainly clear and chilly night with lows dropping into the lower 40s. There will be a bit of a breeze later today and tonight as the front passes.
Cooler air and a northwest breeze arrive for Friday with lots of sunshine for the afternoon. The upcoming weekend will feature dry and seasonable conditions with highs in the 60s. Looking ahead, temperatures soar back into the 70s next week — well above average for October! There could be a few more opportunities for showers next week too.
