2 injured in crash on Route 30 bridge


COLUMBIA, Pa. (WHTM) – Two York County men were taken to hospitals after a crash that closed the westbound lanes of the Route 30 bridge for about five hours Wednesday night.

West Hempfield Township police identified the motorcyclists as Travis J. Forry, 21, of Yoe, and Shawn E. Baummer, 24, of York.

The crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. and involved two other vehicles, both SUVs. The drivers were not injured.

The investigation is continuing. Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the department at 717-285-5191 or 1-800-957-2677.
