Multiple arrests made in shooting at Manchester Township motel

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say they arrested five men involved in an August shooting outside a Manchester Township motel.

According to Northern York County Regional police, Myannh Legette, 19, was selling a handgun to Kristopher Ray, 23, outside the Econolodge at 222 Arsenal Road.  During the meet, Ray sent a message to his brother, Jordan Ray, who then drove up in a white van with male passengers and began exchanging gunfire, police said.

Legette was struck in the back and leg and was taken to York Hospital by friends.

The following people have been charged as a result of the incident:

  • Kristopher Ray, age 23, of York, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, Firearms not to be carried without a license, Persons not to possess firearms, and Shooting into an occupied structure
  • Jordan Ray, age 23, of York, is charged with Attempted homicide, Aggravated assault, Simple assault, Reckless endangerment
  • Khafre Johnson, age 23, of York, is charged with Attempted homicide, Aggravated assault, Simple assault, Reckless endangerment, Firearms not to be carried without a license, Persons not to possess firearms, and Shooting into an occupied structure
  • Justin Martinez, age 21, of Dover, is charged with aggravated assault. Persons not to possess firearms, firearms not to be carried without a license, simple assault
  • Myannh Legette, age 19, of York, is charged with persons not to possess firearms, firearms not to be carried without a license
  • Brian Iglesias, age 20, of York, is charged with hindering apprehension, false identification to law enforcement
