SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Cumberland County man has been charged after his teenage son was in a fight.
Police say Clifton Carmack, 49, drove his 14-year-old son to the Shippensburg Corn Festival the afternoon of August to meet someone for a prearranged fight behind the Shippensburg Post Office.
Carmack did not stop the fight that occurred on West King Street, according to police. He also made a statement to officers to the effect of when he was a kid they took care of such matters without police.
Police charged Carmack with endangering the welfare of children and disorderly conduct.
