Repairs to affect traffic on I-83, Route 30 in York County


YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Repairs will affect traffic in York County this week and next on Interstate 83 and Route 30.

PennDOT crews will restrict traffic to a single lane on southbound I-83 Wednesday between exit 18 for Mount Rose Avenue (Route 124) and exit 16 for Queen Street (Route 74). The work for a base repair will take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting.

Thursday, the same work will move farther south in the same lane between exit 14 and exit 10 for Loganville. The same time frame applies.

Crews will tackle a base repair on westbound Route 30 Friday between Route 616 and Route 116 in West Manchester Township from 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

If the work schedule is not altered by weather, the base repair operation will continue Monday on I-83 northbound in the right lane between exit 4 for Shrewsbury and exit 8 for Glen Rock from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
