EPHRATA, Pa. (WHTM) – An Ephrata man is facing corruption of minor charges after police say his 16-year-old daughter overdosed on the heroin he supplied her with.

Kerry Lynn Long, 35, is also charged with aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children and possession with intent to distribute in connection with Saturday’s incident at a home in the 600 block of Poplar Street.

Police were called to the residence for a report of a heroin overdose involving a teenage girl.

A nasal application of naloxone was administered. After no response, EMS administered additional doses.

Upon regaining consciousness, the girl told officers that her father supplied her with the heroin.

Long, who was taken into custody on an unrelated bench warrant, was arraigned and committed to Lancaster County Prison on $1,000,000 bail.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lancaster City Police Department at 717-735-3301.
