State police charge man in copper theft


HOLTWOOD, Pa. (WHTM) – A man accused of breaking into a barn in Lancaster County is facing several charges after hundreds of pounds of copper were stolen.

Kerick A. Erisman, 23, was charged Tuesday in the theft that occurred last week.

Pennsylvania State Police in Lancaster say Erisman pried off a lock on a barn door on Drytown Road in Martic Township and stole about 300 pounds of copper.

Erisman was charged with burglary, theft of secondary metals, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
