Woman killed in Route 11/15 crash

DUNCANNON, Pa. (WHTM) – A woman is dead following a crash Tuesday afternoon on Route 11/15 in Perry County.

The crash closed the southbound lanes between Mill Street and Old Trail Road in Duncannon around 2:45 p.m. The highway reopened after 5 p.m.

A 911 dispatcher said the crash involved a car and a tractor-trailer.

According to state police, 37-year-old Sebastian Macko tried to make a left turn in his vehicle from the Liberty Travel Plaza across southbound travel lanes to go northbound.

Macko, traveling alone, collided with a vehicle with five people inside, including a child who is not even one year old.

Dawn Kinslow, a 47-year-old passenger from Lycoming County, was killed. She was not wearing a seat belt, police said.

The child was the only passenger not injured. All others were wearing seat belts but were taken to the hospital for suspected serious injuries, according to police.

Macko was not injured.

State police are continuing their investigation.
