LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A new poll shows Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by nine points among likely Pennsylvania voters.
The Franklin and Marshall College poll, conducted after the first presidential debate last week, shows Clinton leads Trump 47-38 percent.
More voters said Clinton has the experience to be president, is better prepared to handle foreign policy issues, and has the character and judgment to be president. Voters were evenly divided on which candidate can fix the country’s economic problems.
In Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate race, the poll found Democrat Katie McGinty has a six-point lead over Republican Senator Pat Toomey, 41-35 percent, among likely voters.
The survey of 395 Democrats, 316 Republicans, and 102 Independents was conducted Sept. 28 to Oct. 2 and has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 4.8 percentage points.
