LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Lancaster city police were called to a home on North Reservoir Street for a reported stabbing victim.
Officers arrived to find two victims. One, a 35-year-old woman with a stab wound to the face, and the other, a 57-year-old man qith lacerations to the hands.
Both victims were taken to the hospital and being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives learned there was a domestic disupte between the woman and her boyfriend, Ravouth Cheng. Police say Cheng became violent, put the woman to the ground, grabbed her by the neck, and stabbed her in the face. The victim also sustained a broken jaw during the incident. Investigators say Cheng then grabbed his father around the neck and pointed the knife at him.
Cheng’s father attempted to grab the knife, leading to the lacerations on his hands.
Cheng is charged with attempted homicide, simple assault, domestic violence, reckless endangerment, and other related charges.
