Heavy traffic expected for Hershey antique auto show

HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — Starting Wednesday, Derry Township Police say traffic will be extremely heavy in Derry Township as the annual Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Fall Meet takes place.

The meet starts Wednesday and runs through Saturday.

Traffic is expected to be heavy on Hersheypark Drive, Park Boulevard, Park Avenue, Sandbeach Road and N. Hockersville Road. During the meet, drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes around these areas.

Two roads will be temporarily closed for the show.

Boathouse Road closed Monday at 6 p.m. and will be closed through 5 p.m. Saturday.

N. Hockersville Road is closed from Old West Chocolate Avenue to Hersheypark Drive from 11 p.m. Friday until 6 p.m. Saturday.

While the road closures are in effect, detour signs will be posted.
