LEWISBERRY, Pa. (WHTM) – Repairs to part of Route 382 (Lewisberry Road) in York County will be started this week.
Wednesday, a contractor will start preparations to repair and resurface a 4.43-mile section of the roadway from the intersection of Old Trail Road in Newberry Township to a half mile northwest of the intersection with Siddonsburg Road in Fairview Township.
This work, which is scheduled to be completed by the middle of August next year, includes replacements for inlets and drainage pipes. Base and guide rail replacement will also be a part of the project, as well as new signs and pavement markings.
Motorists can expect shifts in traffic patterns and lane restrictions during daylight hours.
Sections of Route 382 will be closed over three weekends in the middle and latter portion of this month. Closures will begin at 8 p.m. on Fridays and end at 6 a.m. on Mondays.
Anyone traveling north on Route 382 can take a detour that will be in effect on Route 177 to Route 252, west on Route 262 to Route 114, east on 114 to Route 382. For those traveling south, the detour is reversed.
