EPHRATA, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster County man is facing charges that stem from a domestic disturbance over the weekend.
Police were called to a home in the 400 block of Countryside Lane in Clay Township around 12:30 p.m. Saturday for reports that an armed man was threatening a woman there.
A resident of the home, 46-year-old Scott Dean Herman, walked outside after a brief discussion with police and was taken into custody. He was allegedly armed with a rifle and a handgun while he was inside.
The victim had non-life threatening injuries to her neck, according to police.
Herman is charged with making terroristic threats and simple assault.
