LEMOYNE, Pa – (WHTM) – A Cumberland County police department has become the latest department to add a new member who will fight crime on all fours.
The West Shore Regional Police Department has added K9 Maximus Winston to its police force. It’s the first canine member in the history of the department.
Maximus will be partnered with Officer Christopher Conroy and spend four weeks in training before they hit the streets.
Donations from the community helped finance the purchase of the dog.
