HANOVER, Pa. (WHTM) – A York County man was arrested after police said he stole items from unlocked vehicles, including about 800 Redbox DVD movies and games valued at $10,000.

Joshua J. Williams, 28, of West Manheim Township, also stole several computers, cash, and other electronics in the early morning hours of last Friday, township police said.

An officer spotted Williams rummaging through a car early Thursday after a resident called 911 to report a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Joshua Drive. Williams fled into a wooded area and couldn’t be found, but police said the suspicious vehicle belonged to his girlfriend and his photo ID was inside.

He was arrested at his home.

Williams is charged with multiple counts of theft, loitering and prowling at night, and related offenses. He was sent to York County Prison on $30,000 bail.
