LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lebanon man is facing charges after he allegedly threatened to burn his significant other while holding a gas can over her.
Freddie Torres-Melendez, 37, was arrested after an incident Wednesday night on East Weidman Street.
Torres is accused of threatening to burn his victim and the home they were in while he held a can containing gasoline.
No one was injured and police say it does not appear Torres actually tried to light a fire.
Torres is charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and simple assault related to domestic violence.
Police also say Torres struck an officer during the booking process.
Torres is in Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 bail.
